Sitting within the Sustainable Livestock Systems program of the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI), our research in development agenda is focused on dryland populations where livestock-based livelihoods are dominant.  

We contribute to the achievement of our vision—diversified and sustainable livelihood options for dryland populations—by developing innovative, evidence-based solutions to ensure the productive and sustainable use of livestock by dryland populations, and by supporting their adoption for impact at scale.
