IBLI eLearning course for sub-Saharan Africa (Kenya)

To build capacity of stakeholders, ILRI’s IBLI team designed customised eLearning and blended materials that actively take learners through hands-on activities about drought mitigation and insurance. This is an eLearning course for sales agents of partner agencies in Kenya’s arid and semi-arid lands. The course has an offline version to help reach areas with limited connectivity. Concepts covered include; traditional coping strategies, conventional livestock insurance, index-based livestock insurance, asset protection, calculating payouts and how premiums are set.
